My name is Mahmuda Khatun. One year ago I came in Australia from Bangladesh. I have already finished an Assistant in Nursing course from TAFE.I did not apply anywhere for an Assistant in Nursing job because my English is not good enough for work places. So now I am doinging a English course in TAFE. From my point of view, I believe that , age care work is a very good profession. So I'd like to be an Assistant in Nursing for old people. Firstly, when people get old then they can not do anything for themselves because they lose to body strength. So they need an assistant. However elderly people do not have relatives to help in first world countries such as USA, England and Australia. Some times they have relatives but they do not have enough time to help elderly people. Secondly, most older people have some diseases such as cancer and back pain. They need an efficient assistant because they need to give injections, help them to wound dressing and them to take their prescription medication. Moreover most relatives do not know, how to take care to elderly people . In conclusion,I want to say that in modern countries there are jobs available as assistants in nursing. That's why I like this career for me.
